As a native Berliner, I began my ballet training with Sabine Roth before switching to a specialised dance high school in Essen, western Germany. I graduated from there in 2001 and went on to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne.

Already as a student, I gained valuable experience with the Deutsche Oper Berlin and several other theatres and opera houses. Upon graduation I was hired as a soloist at the Theater Augsburg.

In 2010, my husband – also a dancer – and I moved with our son to Braunschweig, where I worked as a freelance dancer and teacher. Since 2013, I’ve been back in Berlin teaching at the Ballettschule Sabine Roth.
